Bayesian phylogenetics and macroevolution in RevBayes
RevBayes provides an interactive environment for statistical computation in phylogenetics. It is primarily intended for modelling, simulation, and Bayesian inference in evolutionary biology, particularly phylogenetics. However, the environment is quite general and can be useful for many complex modelling tasks.
Workshop presenter Tracy Heath, is part of the RevBayes core development team.
The program can also be shaped by participant interests - a list of RevBayes tutorials can be found here. If you are interested in the workshop, please submit an expression of interest (EOI) by 22 Feb, 2019.
Workshop materials and updates are available here. This page also has a list of recommended papers for reading and links to four phyloseminar lectures by Paul Lewis.
Participants will need to bring their laptops with RevBayes v1.0.10, Tracer, FigTree and a simple text editor (such as Sublime Text, NotePad++, TextWrangler, BBEdit, vim, or emacs) installed.
