Synthesis Groups announced for 2024
Each year the CBA funds a number of small group meetings that aim to generate high impact syntheses and reviews, collaborative grant proposals, or policy/management engagement outcomes.
Our latest round of successful Synthesis Group proposals have been announced:
- Bogong Moth Summit: Uniting people, place, and purpose for conservation (ANU & CSIRO; project contact Kate Umbers)
- AirDNA Workshop (CSIRO, UC & ANU; project contact Erin Hann)
- Integrating mechanistic models and individual-based data to predict population dynamics in a changing world (ANU & UC; project contact Dan Noble)
To test the feasibility of new and innovative ideas and techniques with new collaborators the CBA also has an annual round of Ignition Grants. As part of this year's Ignition Grant program, calls for pilot projects (including student projects) to test, develop and innovate with CBA's new research program encorporating the DiversityScanner technology will be made in the second half of 2024.
