New ANU-CSIRO experimental and computational lab up and running
The EBL is now fully operational and ready for ANU and CSIRO staff and students' next sequencing project.
The EcoGenomics and Bioinformatics Lab (EBL) is a joint initiative of ANU and CSIRO that seeks to support training, collaboration and cross-pollination.
The new lab is part of The Centre for Genomics, Metabolomics and Bioinformatics (CGMB) in The National Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Precinct (NAESP).
The EBL includes experimental and computational components to support both data generation and data analysis.
EBL Manager Niccy Aitken welcomes all ANU and CSIRO staff, students and collaborators and says that the sparkling new lab is well set up for both high throughput and small scale Next Generation Sequencing library prep, with 12 independent work benches available for booking.
The collaborative space is located in the Research School of Biology on the ground floor of the R.N. Robertson Building (Bldg 46, ANU, see map).
