If living near or travelling to a bushfire zone, now is your time to help.

We need to record as many species as we can around bushfire affected areas, to learn more about how species respond, find refuge and recover as they move back into burned areas where vegetation is re-growing.

Any and all sightings are valuable!

Earth Guardians is proud to be running the Australian Bushfire Recovery BioQuest as part of the annual Global BioQuest Competition. Please make sure you stay safe! Check the area has been declared safe to enter before you explore and help map the recovery of our biodiversity.

• When: Start any time
• Where: Anywhere near bushfire zones, or in bushfire zones declared safe to enter
• How: Download the QuestaGame app, register and start spotting or helping to identify species.

The Australian Bushfire Recovery BioQuest needs your help! Join the BioQuest and help identify biodiversity in Australian Bushfire zones as they recover.
We reward your efforts with donations to conservation partners of your choice.  Identify species to become the Champion Bushfire Recovery Identifier.

Just go to the BioExpertise Engine (bioSMART.LIFE) and

• Sign on with your QuestaGame login
• Go to Settings > Disaster Recovery Zones
• Tick the box for Australian Bushfire Zones
• Click 'Let’s ID some sightings!'

If you go outside on an adventure, please check it is safe before entering an Australian Bushfire Zone.
