Bogong Moth Summit

At the end of February the national Bogong Moth Summit took place. The CBA was a major partner of the event, which consisted of talks, workshops and discussion panels at ANU, and concluded with a climb up Mount Kosciuszko to see the moths flying at dusk.

The summit was attended by a broad range of practitioners, including Traditional Custodians, to share knowledge and ideas, and create a nationally coordinated plan for Bogong moth conservation across the conservation, agriculture, recreation and academic sectors.

This initiative has the potential to transform conservation in Australia by bringing people from multiple sectors together from across the country, united by a common cause.
