Genomic data is transforming how we study biodiversity, ecosystems, and agriculture, but analysing large datasets can be overwhelming, especially if you’re new to R or bioinformatics. To make this easier, the dartR team created the dartRverse, an open-source suite of R packages that streamlines population genetic analyses of SNP and presence/absence markers.
With its intuitive genlight-based workflow, dartR takes you from raw data to filtering, analysis, and visualisation—no advanced coding required. And we're excited to announce that the dartR team has just won the 2025 Eureka Prize for Excellence in Research Software!
The dartR team will host a hands-on workshop on population genetics in R using the dartRverse. Aimed at ecologists, conservation biologists, and early-career researchers, this workshop will provide practical training with accessible, reproducible tools.
If you are interested in attending, please fill out this form to help the team tailor the course.
We will be in touch with final program and registration details.
