This R Software Carpentry bootcamp is an intensive hands-on workshop at which scientists learn software skills through short tutorials and practical exercises. By the end of the bootcamp participants will have a effective understanding of how to load, manipulate and transform data in R. 

Attendees will also learn how to write functions, use various control structures, and generate publication quality figures. Day Two will cover the use version control to manage research output, basics of testing, with an afternoon session covering reproducible workflows to tie all of these concepts together. Topics and schedule may be modified depending on skill levels and goals of participants.
