Following on from the success of last year's Science Symposium, the second Atlas of Living Australia Science Symposium will be held at the newly refurbished Australian Academy of Science's Shine Dome in Canberra from 11-12 June 2014. Involving talks, demonstrations and tutorials, the symposium will highlight the range of research enabled by the Atlas.
This year, we would like to invite you to submit an abstract for a presentation at the Symposium on how you have involved the Atlas in your work, in one of the following categories:
- 15 minute oral presentation
- Five-minute lightning talk
- A poster
Prizes will be awarded to the best student presentation/s (including posters).
An additional prize will be awarded for the most innovative use of the Atlas.
Abstract submissions
Oral presentations
This is your opportunity to show other users of the Atlas how you have used information taken from the Atlas to assist you with your research.
Lightning talks
An opportunity to present a five minute speed talk on an area of the Atlas that interests you (present or future).
Posters
For display purposes only, to show how you are using the Atlas.
