Student funding available for Evolution in the Gong 2026
The Centre for Biodiversity Analysis (CBA) is pleased to be providing support to assist ANU, University of Canberra and CSIRO postgraduate students attend Evolution in the Gong 2026, the joint meeting of the Australasian Evolution Society and the Society of Australian Systematic Biologists, at the University of Wollongong from 2–4 December 2026.
Evolution in the Gong will have a strong focus on postgraduate students and early-career researchers, making it a great opportunity for students to present their work, get feedback from the community, and connect with others in evolutionary biology and systematics.
The CBA will cover full registration costs and the conference dinner for up to 10 PhD/Masters students from ANU, University of Canberra and CSIRO.
Applications close on 13th September 2026. Priority will be given to students who are presenting their research and do not already have other funding sources for this conference. Outcomes to be announced early to mid October.
