CBA researchers made headlines recently when they discovered at least two new species of gecko in the Cobbold Gorge tourist park northwest of Townsville.

Craig Moritz and Gaye Burke's discoveries were reported in the Townville Bulletin.

Gaye took the opportunity to highlight the vast lizard diversity that exists in Northern Australia and how likely it was that even more new species would be discovered in the near future.
