This week we will discuss a paper about presentation of summary statistics in scientific papers:

Weissgerber, T.L., Milic, N.M., Winham, S.J. & Garovic, V.D. (2015) Beyond bar and line graphs: time for a new data presentation paradigm. PLoS Biology 13: e1002128.

The authors present a meta-analysis and critique of the use of simple statistics in published papers and offer suggestions to authors and journal editors about how to remedy the situation.
