The CBA is a collaborative initiative that connects scientists and their research across ANU, CSIRO and University of Canberra to exploit new and emerging technologies in the discovery, understanding, conservation and restoration of Australia’s unique biodiversity in the face of accelerating environmental change.
Metrics and key performance indicators that capture the success of the CBA's collaborations and networks include projects, publications, training, co-supervised students, knowledge exchange, and new funding opportunities.
Innovative concepts and tools in biodiversity science have have considerable potential to assist with many of the complex issues confronting environmental policy and management.
The CBA supports and coordinates funding opportunities for research, training and collaboration.
