GSA 2019 conference

The Organising Committee takes great delight in being able to warmly invite you to the Genetics Society of AustralAsia 2019 conference held this year at the University of Melbourne, near the heart of our wonderful, multicultural city.

The program will be rich and diverse, covering the extraordinary expanse of our discipline as it practised in the 21st century. We have a wonderful line up of invited speakers, but their contributions need to be augmented with yours. Many speakers and poster presenters will be selected from the submitted abstracts.

The program will feature two special Symposia on the potential for major programs of research; one on an audacious proposal to sequence a massive number of genomes to understand the unique biodiversity of Australia and New Zealand. The other focuses on the agenda of the Australian Functional Genomics Network to use model organisms to investigate the functional impact of genetic variants identified in patients with rare diseases and cancers.

Early bird registrations close 10 May 2019.
